Modern Slavery
Modern Slavery Statement (Voluntary) - For the financial year ending 2026
At Stylish Home Secrets, we are committed to operating ethically and responsibly. Although our business is below the £36 million annual turnover threshold set out in the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and is therefore not legally required to publish a modern slavery statement, we believe it is important to demonstrate our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms.
1. Our Business
Stylish Home Secrets is a UK-based retailer providing stylish and affordable homeware products through our website www.stylishhomesecrets.com. We source a range of items from carefully selected suppliers in the UK and overseas.
2. Our Ethical Commitment
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking.
We expect all of our suppliers and business partners to share these values and to operate in accordance with all applicable employment and human rights laws.
3. Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain includes manufacturers, wholesalers, and logistics providers. We aim to work only with reputable suppliers who can demonstrate fair working conditions and responsible labour practices. We seek to build transparent and long-term relationships with partners who align with our ethical standards.
4. Due Diligence and Risk Management
To reduce the risk of modern slavery in our operations, we:
- Conduct due diligence checks on new suppliers where appropriate.
- Prioritise suppliers who provide assurances or certifications of ethical sourcing.
- Review supplier relationships if concerns about labour standards arise.
- Reserve the right to terminate any supplier relationship where evidence of modern slavery is identified.
5. Staff Awareness
Our team members are made aware of the importance of ethical trading and the potential risks of exploitation in global supply chains. They are encouraged to remain alert to any concerns and to report them promptly.
6. Reporting Concerns
We encourage anyone — employees, suppliers, or members of the public — to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical behaviour. Concerns can be raised confidentially by emailing contactus@stylishhomesecrets.com.
7. Continuous Improvement
We understand that combating modern slavery requires ongoing vigilance. We are committed to improving our internal processes, supplier engagement, and staff training to ensure our business and supply chain remain free from exploitation.
